Start your kombucha brewing with the same liquid starter culture we use to craft every bottle of Folk. No need for a cellulose SCOBY, this powerful, living liquid SCOBY does it. Over time, cellulose can naturally grow too, and strengthen future ferments.
It’s a potent, unfiltered starter, fermented for 2–3 weeks to build a strong and rich starter culture. Full of bacteria & yeast, it’s the foundation of true, slow-fermented kombucha, made exactly as it should be.
1 bottle of 240ml starter culture, is enough to each brew 2L of kombucha.
All ingredients are certified organic, unfiltered, and living. Naturally occurring sediments will settle at the bottom. To enjoy the full flavour without bubbling over, gently swirl the bottle to mix before pouring. Always store bottles upright to prevent leakage.
